i have a normal HP desktop computer with no internet but my cousin has wifi and i know the password?

No. Well, probably not. If you live close, you can add a wifi card to your computer and pick up his signal if not encrypted. If you live more than, say, 50ft away, you are SOL. You might want to look into upgrading your phone to one that is a wi-fi hotspot. It runs around an extra $20 month and you can use both your cell phone and the data package to go online. The Droid X and the Palm Pre both have this service….
if it has built in wifi adapter go to your network adapters and right click on your wireless adapter and right click view available wireless connetions.
